8th Grade History We will explore the development of our country beginning with the presidency of George Washington and continuing through the Civil War. Major topics include the Industrial Revolution, Manifest Destiny, Andrew Jackson's Presidency, The Mexican American War, Immigration, and finally the Civil War.

7th Grade HistoryOur year begins by learning about the first inhabitants of North American and then moves in to colonization by Spain, England, and France. We study the development of the 13 colonies and conclude with our efforts to gain independence. Students will complete projects on the Revolutionary War and Maps of the Colonies.

6th Grade HistoryStudents will explore ancient civilizations including Mesopotamia, Egypt, India, China, Greece, and Rome.

6th and 7th Grade Religion
Sixth Grade learners focus on the Old Testament and the Patriarchs of the Church. We begin the year with a video series that outlines Salvation History and a challenge to memorize the books of the Old Testament.

Seventh Grade students will focus on the New Testament, looking closely at each of the four gospels and many of Paul's letters. In the fourth quarter, we study St. John Paul II's Theology of the Body.
